Who is responsible

This website is operated by Jael Meire, a web designer and developer based in Mar del Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, who is responsible for the data received through the site. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to me at jaelmeire@gmail.com.

What data I collect

The only personal data I collect is your email address, which you enter in the contact form so I can write back to you. Providing it is optional: if you don't, I can't reply to you that way, but you can reach me through any of the other channels. The site has no user accounts, sign-up or database of its own.

If you prefer to reach me by email, WhatsApp, Fiverr or Freelancer, I receive whatever data that channel shows me (for example your number or your profile) and use it only to reply to you.

The site also measures its usage with Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights: page views, country, device type and browser, and speed metrics. According to Vercel, this measurement does not use cookies and does not identify you personally. Hosting is also provided by Vercel, which may log technical connection data, such as your IP address, to operate and protect the service.

When the page loads, your browser also requests the public data of my plugins (version, date and installations) from WordPress.org. As with any site you visit, WordPress.org receives technical data from that connection, such as your IP address.

What I use it for

I use your email only to answer your inquiry and, if we end up working together, to coordinate the project. I don't use it to send you advertising or newsletters. By submitting the form you accept this policy.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use its own, advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing it saves in your browser (in local storage, not in a cookie) is the language you choose, so it can show it to you next time; that data never leaves your device. Fonts are served from the site itself, without requesting them from Google Fonts or any other third party.

Who I share data with

The contact form runs on Web3Forms, a service that receives the submission and forwards it to me by email; analytics and hosting are provided by Vercel, and the plugin data by WordPress.org. Your email reaches my inbox, which is managed by my email provider. These services may log technical connection data, such as your IP address, to operate and protect their services; each has its own privacy policy.

These services may process data on servers outside your country, including in countries whose laws offer a different level of protection. By submitting the form you consent to that transfer. I don't sell, rent or hand over your data to third parties, and I don't do advertising or profiling.

How long I keep it

I keep your email and your inquiry for as long as needed to reply to you and, if we end up working together, for as long as that relationship lasts. You can ask me to delete them at any time.

Security

The form sends your data over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has basic anti-spam measures. No system is foolproof, but I treat your data with the same care as my own.

Your rights

You can ask me for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use, by writing to jaelmeire@gmail.com. I handle these requests free of charge and in accordance with the data protection laws that apply to you.

Since the site is operated from Argentina, Law No. 25,326 on Personal Data Protection applies. The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as established in Article 14, paragraph 3 of Law No. 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information, as the Control Body of Law No. 25,326, has the authority to handle complaints and claims filed by anyone whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the rules in force on personal data protection.

Minors

The site is not aimed at minors and I do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Links to other sites

The site links to other services and websites: WhatsApp, Fiverr, Freelancer, GitHub, WordPress.org, Pulse and my clients' sites. Each has its own privacy policy, and this policy does not cover what happens on them.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy if the site changes; the last updated date appears above.
